Wordless Wednesday 63 - Trick or treat?

So this is about as close as I could get to Bella in a Halloween costume. It comes compliments of Hurricane Sandy. Trick or Treat? I'm pretty sure I know what Bella thinks.

If it's possible for dogs to frown, I think Bella has managed it.

Our thoughts are still with friends and family dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. We celebrate with those who made it through unscathed and hold in our hearts those less fortunate:
Lauren of Life With Desmond and her family, who are safe but sustained considerable damage to their home; and

The small coastal community of Matunck, RI where we recently vacationed which was decimated by the storm.
We wish you all peace and strength as you rebuild.

Black & White Sunday: Hello Sandy!

Bella is not amused.

Our thoughts are with all our friends up and down the eastern seaboard tonight. Here's hoping you are all safe. We'll be in the basement if anybody's looking for us. ;)

Wordless Wednesday 62 - Please help me choose...

Hey friends, I got an offer to review a photo product and have to choose a picture of Bella for them to use. I only have about 645,972,833 pictures of Bella (give or take a few) and I'm having a hard time picking the right one.

I've narrowed it down to a few and thought maybe you could let me know which is your favorite in the comments? It would be a big help if you would. Thanks!

PS - I can doctor up the backgrounds some so if you like one over the other but think the background gets in the way, let me know. Thanks again!

Black & White Sunday: Rabbit feet

Bella has lovely long and dainty toes.  They've always reminded me of rabbit feet.

(Not quite) Wordless Wednesday 61 - Sweetness

We took Bella to Buddy Dog Humane Society's 2nd Annual Woofstock celebration this weekend but I didn't get too many pictures. We were too busy dealing with our poor pathetic dog. (See below.)

We did get to meet the famous Punk Dogs and their hu-folk. But I'm still apologizing for how horrid Bella was in greeting Maggie. (Sorry, Maggie.)

And of course we got a little lovin' time with Bella's beautiful beau, Gus, and his sweetheart sister, Molly. I'll share some of those photos next week. In the meantime, these may be the sweetest, or most pathetic pictures, I've ever taken.

We probably won't be taking Bella to these events in the future - it's just not fun for her anymore. It's too bad, she used to like them.

And yes, that is Bella going to Jan for comfort from the scary. Our relationships with this dog are complicated.

PS - Anyone else notice she's standing on his foot? I missed the shot where she was actually on his lap. Everybody say "Awww..."
