Wordless Wednesday 23 - Snow day!

Okay, so this snow day was 2 years ago back when Bella and Maggie were BFFs. ("were BFFs" - is that an oxymoron?) We haven't had any snow this year and I'm kind of missing it. I really miss seeing the girls romp though, in snow or otherwise...

This just in: Bella and I were featured on Coffee with a Canine today. It was great fun and we really appreciate the opportunity to participate.

Side benefit? I finally have some pictures of me and Bella together. (One of the hazards of being the shutterbug in the family is not having any pictures with you in them.)

  7. Great photos!  And Gus is with you on the wish for the white stuff (Molly not so much).  Loved Coffee with a Canine and am now blaming you for my spending so much time on the canine blogs.  The big guy also says thanks for his inclusion in C with a C and that he has fooled you into thinking he's patient.  He sends a hug to Bella --

  13. These "cool" kids seem like they are having a lot of fun playing in the snow! I'm jealous actually... I live in Florida where we never get ANY snow, so my pup can't play in it! I can't wait to see more pictures from these fabulous two pups soon!

  18. Great pics! My previous girl l LOVED the snow and would play for hours!!! My new girl; not so much. She won't go out without her little jacket on and won't stay out long and hates to romp in the snow. But so far, we don't have snow either this year, so she's ok to go outside still. Almost.
    Thanks for stopping by!

  20. I have to admit, we were surprised Bella took to the snow the way she did, being from Puerto Rico and all.  Guess she was still young enough because she loves it!

  21. We got a tidbit yesterday. It's a relief after last year (snowmageddon anyone?), but I'm worried about my hostas. :o

  22. I hear that. We had an inch or two yesterday but it's pretty much gone already. I really should not be complaining though - always a double-edged sword. ;)

  23. Bella and Maggie used to be so good for each other.  I'm still hopeful they can be again...

  24. Oh they did - and what a great picture-taking opportunity for me!

  25. Thanks for the notice - I'll try and update my blog roll this weekend so I don't lose track of you!  Woof woof!

  26. LOL - I know - if we don't get it, I want it but as soon as it appears, I'm ready for it to go away!

The interview was fun.  I'm really enjoying that blog - what a great idea and wonderful way for animal lovers to get to know each other!

  27. That was a horrible picture but the best I could before my husband threw the camera out the window. I think he has a little more respect for how difficult it it to get a decent picture out of an uncooperative dog and a distracted human subject. ;)

  28. I've been meaning to get over there and say hi - I loved your interview and had no idea you guys were so new to the blog world - you seem like 'old pros'.

I think they're getting colder weather in the South than we northern residents are this year. What's up with that? :)

  29. Hi Debbie!  Thanks for visiting. I just zipped over to follow your blog - that's quite a pack you have there!

It's kind of crazy to go from 50 degrees to 8 inches of snow!  We've been in the same boat though - weather's been nuts this year.

Thanks again for stopping by.  Looking forward to getting to know you and your pups!

  30. You are too sweet to me.  Thanks for that. I really like the criteria. :)

  31. Oh, Florida is wonderful and a favorite place to escape our wild winters but I would miss the snow! (Although I could always come visit the snow and live in the warmth.... hhmmmmm... :)

Thanks for visiting. I've got lots of pictures in the snow but they are from years past since we're STILL WAITING here. ;)

  32. Thanks Hawk! It was fun.  (Kinda weird too, but mostly fun. :)

There's nothing better than pups playing, is there? Hope all is well with you - really hope to drop by for a visit this weekend.

  33. Hi Tim! Thanks for dropping by. Bella certainly couldn't ask for more, that's for sure.

  34. Yeah, they keep promising us but it's all been a bust so far.  Here's hoping you got your snow today!

  35. Hi Cheryl, thanks for dropping by! This is old snow - we still have diddly. ;)  Here's hoping you'll get some soon!

  36. I've been 'blessed' with dogs who love the snow (I'm not a huge fan myself. ;)

Happy to have found you and I really look forward to reading more. Thanks for swinging by.

  38. Hey I'm starting to catch up with everyone again! Mum says the advantage of being the photographer is that there are never any photos of her hehe! Deccy x

    ReplyDelete
  39. LOL - that's true enough.  But it's both good and bad.

My dad was the resident photographer in our family and when my Lab was growing up, he took pictures of me and Beau together every so many weeks for his first year.  So I have a whole history of our life together in pictures.

Now I'm the photog and I have next to no pictures of me and Bella together.  Of course, I was young and thin back then and now, let's just say a little less so which leaves me not too anxious to get in front of a camera but it would be nice to have a few of me and B together.  :]

  40. Yeah we know what you mean. Ganny has the only photo of Mum and me together. Mum cringes every time she sees it though! Deccy x
