Wordless Wednesday 40 - My bliss

Hi all,

Just popping in from not-exactly-sunny Florida to share a picture of something that soothes my soul: my garden. Hope you're all having a wonderful week and I look forward to catching up with everybody when I get home.

  6. That is a beautiful garden. My dogs would love to go sleep in the flower beds and dig some nice holes in the grass.

  15. That is never a garden, it's an oasis of wonderment and sereneness that I need to see much more of:)  Simply beautiful, Leslie.  I also need you to come over here and give me some ideas of what to do at our new place!

  16. Truly amazing. I agree, that is far more than a garden. If I had property like that, I would never want to leave. I hope you had a good time in Florida!

  17. Your garden is gorgeous! We have to go back out and move a few more cubic yards of dirt. The dogs like to hang out under a tree and watch.

  18. LOL - Deccy, you always make me laugh. :)

  19. LOL - yeah, Bella is not good for the garden - she's a digger.  Luckily she likes to dig under things though so it's not quite as noticeable. :)

  20. ROFL - this is why we don't take vacations. ;)

  21. Thank you Charlene, and Storm. :)

  22. If you ever find yourself out in these parts, you have an open invitation to a tour from the hostess. And a spot of iced tea if you'd like. :)

  23. (Shhh - it's probably hard to tell from the picture but all those flowers are early spring bloomers. You know, before the weeds come out in force. ;)

  24. Hey Marquie, don't tempt me!  I've seen the views from your yard and would love to live there!

  25. We seldom do, honestly.  Florida was for work.  We may take another vacation some day.  I hope.  ;]

  26. LOL - I would love to garden in your neck of the woods, so much more grows there!  I think you're going to have a lot of fun making your new home 'yours'.  I look forward to seeing what you do with it.  (Oh, and welcome back!)

  27. Beau used to love to hang with me in the garden.  Bella's getting better at it but she hides under the bushes, digging her own little spot.  Does not help.  :}

  28. Well, you are welcome to drop by anytime, my friend. :)

  29. Thanks Snoopy!  Florida was fun but it's oh so much better to be home again. :)

  30. Thank you.  It's a lot of work but the pay-off is worth it.

  31. Thank you, Hawk.  Having seen where you spend your days, that's quite the compliment.

  32. It's soul-soothing when it looks like this.  Getting it to look like this, not so much. ;)

  33. Thank you.  I wish it was as quiet as it looks.  Unfortunately the traffic takes away from it's serenity just a bit.  But it still "feels" quiet. :)

  34. Beautiful! If I had a place like this, I might not ever leave :)
