Wordless Wednesday 95 - I keep losing the dog

Bella's fenced-in area has expanded this year to cover almost twice as much space as last year. Only trouble is, I keep losing the damn dog in the garden. She finds the best spots to hide and falls asleep.

Found her.

Is she really using a rock as a pillow? Oy.

"I feel a great disturbance in the Force..."

Oh, I'm sorry, were you looking for me?
Oh Bella, it's a good thing you're cute.

  1. That is so sweet!! What a perfect, shady spot for a snooze... although, the rock doesn't seem so comfy!

  2. Awww! Ours would love that! Well, Morgan and Kuster would. I'm pretty sure Bunny would stick to the house.

  4. We miss our yard. Cinnamon would hang out all day. Looks like you have the perfect place Bella to lounge all day as well.

    She's denning!

I've had a few foster dogs that liked to sleep under the dense Roses of Sharon in the back corner. I can't tell you how panicky I felt when they disappeared after I turned my back only for a second.

  6. Too cute. Leah loves to lay under her favorite bush too, and as big as she is, she still blends in with the scenery. Happy napping Bella!

  7. Oh yes, Pamela, I know that feeling well. I don't mind her finding the coolest spot in the garden. I don't even mind her digging it up to cool it further. It's when she falls asleep and doesn't come when I call her that makes my heart beat a little out of control.

  8. Bella was always afraid of the yard before (she's afraid of bugs) but I know she would miss her yard now, too, if she had to give it up. For now we're just glad she's finally enjoying it. :)

Too funny! You need a dog to help track her down!

  10. ROFL! She is hilarious. I love that she used that rock as a pillow. Lassie and Petal approve. They will use just about anything as a pillow. ;)

Looks like she picked a cozy and relaxing place to snooze.

  12. I think Bella has got a pet rock and she's keeping it company :) I lose Frankie all the time, it doesn't seem to matter where we go he just blends in with the background. I keep threatening to get him a bright pink collar!

Looks like she found the coolest, most comfortable spot in the yard (if rocks as pillows can be considered comfortable). Reminds me of our black cat who constantly disappears in the evening....if the lights aren't on, we can't see her!
