Wordless Wednesday 75 - Those were the days...

Since Bella is lame and can't go out to play in the snow, I was reminiscing today of the days she could. And she was once happy to do so with another dog, her former-BFF, Maggie.

As always, you can click to embiggen. :)

I just ADORE this picture.

  5. Bart has had some acupuncture for a pinched nerve in his neck and more recently for some weakness in his hips with great results. He loves it, runs into the vets office and just sort of zens out dueling his treatments. Might help Bella's leg...

  6. Thanks for the tip. We're seeing a veterinary rehabiltator now and that is acupuncture may well be among her services. We will definitely ask about it. Thanks again.

  10. AW, hope she is feeling better soon. Have she and her BFF been able to get together since then? BTW . . .acupuncture has been GREAT for my back problems, I'm a believer :)

  13. I love the whole set of pictures. A prolonged winter rest might be just what Bella needs. Poor thing. Why FORMER? Georgia has quite a few Former BFFs too. She drops them for no apparent reason and goes through them like knickers, such a fickle girl ;)

  14. We sure hope Bella is going to get better soon. I have read great things about acupuncture for animals, but we have not had a need to try it for ourselves. The human uses it with good success.

  15. She is, Sugar, and almost as pretty as you are. ;)  Maggie is a good girl and we miss playing with her a lot.

  16. We are taking things very slow with her but she also needs to get some energy out.  (Good thing she's growing up and needs a little less stimulation than she used to!)

I'm beginning to think Bella and Maggie just grew to have different play styles.  Bella likes to run but I don't think it was much fun for Maggie to always be on the losing end of the game....  Maggie likes to rumble and I KNOW Bella didn't like always losing that game.  ;)

  17. I adore that last picture too. She looks so happy! It's not an expression I am used to seeing on her pretty face. I am so glad she had the chance to be a "normal" dog with a good friend. Hopefully she will heal from her mysterious injury soon and be able to get back out there one day.

  19. Loved these pictures, and learned a new word. "embiggen" :-)
Sorry she's not allowed to play in the snow, or with Maggie anymore. What a bummer.

  20. Awe, those are such adorable photos.  I've shown them to Penny the Jack Russell and she's having a rethink about going out in the snow.  Hope Bella is getting better.

    Have a lovely Sunday :)
